Terms & Conditions

Our Contract

These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Angel Plastics Ltd whose registered office is at Kings Parade, Lower Coombe Street, Croydon, CR0 1AA.

For the purposes of identification the terms 'us,we,our' and the Company will refer to Angel Plastics Ltd. The term 'you' will refer to the customer of Angel Plastics Ltd.

All orders placed by you are on the basis of these Terms & Conditions and are subject to acceptance by us upon delivery of the goods to you at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between you and us. Please note that the processing of your payment and acknowledgement of your order does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.

Price & Payment

The price payable for the goods you order is as set out on our website at the time you place your order plus any charges for delivery and or other services as set out in the Order Form.

We reserve the right to change the price of commodity goods such as lead and copper due to market conditions but we will confirm the prevailing price with you before accepting your order. We are not obliged to accept your order for such goods and may decline it or limit the order quantity.

On occasion, the prices payable of goods advertised on our website may differ from those prices offered in the then current price catalogue or in one of our trade counters, and we are under no obligation to honour any website price if there is such a difference.

We must receive payment for the entire cost of your order and any applicable charges for delivery, before your order can be processed.

Delivery

We will deliver the goods in accordance with your order usually within the stated delivery time; however, you must not schedule, organise or commence any project work until after you have received your order from us and checked all the goods for defects or missing parts. Absolutely no claim whatsoever will be accepted by us for any consequential losses incurred by you due to delivery delays and or missing and broken items etc.

You must do all that you reasonably can to enable delivery to take place at the given time and place. If you delay delivery or delivery fails because you have not taken appropriate steps we will try to arrange for an alternative delivery date within 30 days of the failed delivery. If the delivery fails as a result of circumstances within your reasonable control, the cost of any re-delivery shall be borne by you. If we are unable to arrange a date for re-delivery we may cancel your order and refund to you the price of the goods less the failed delivery costs and any extra transport costs incurred for having the order returned to our depot.

Special Instruction for Tuffnells Deliveries
Although goods are counted twice and quality checked by us prior to despatch it is an unfortunate fact that damage can still occur in transit or items can go astray. Naturally, we cannot be at your end to sign off the goods and so we have to rely on you to advise us if anything is damaged or indeed missing.

When receiving an order from us that has been delivered by Tuffnells you should check the goods and be satisfied that they are in good condition before signing the delivery note.

If the consignment is too large or the driver is in a rush and is not prepared to wait for you to check the goods you must presume the worst and write the word 'Damaged' or 'Missing' clearly on the delivery note before signing your name. Do not write the word 'unchecked' as this will not cover you or us for any potential claims. Failure to follow the above procedure may invalidate any claim you may have for lost or damaged goods.

Prior to your order being despatched you will receive an email from us stating the delivery method to be used which will either be:-

  • Tuffnells (occasional problems see above)
  • Angel Delivery (no problems expected)
  • Parcel Force (no problems expected)

Notwithstanding any of the above, the vast majority of deliveries are executed without problem and so you shouldn't be too concerned just a little aware.

Cancellation & Returns Policy

You may cancel your order for a full refund by sending an email to sales@angelplastics.co.uk and quoting your reference number. This must be received prior to despatch of your goods.

You may return any goods to us for a full refund so long as the goods are sent back to us within 14 days of purchase and in their original packaging/perfect condition. Please note that it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the transport costs associated in returning the goods to us. You must email to advise us of any returns.

If goods are returned to us later than 14 days after purchase we reserve the right to levy a re-stocking charge in respect.

We will not accept any returns after a period of 30 days.

In the case of specially manufactured items such as powder coated aluminium rainwater systems or bespoke welding jobs any refund for order cancellation will be less the reasonable costs incurred by us to personalise the item i.e powder coating costs, special welding etc.

Notwithstanding the above, should you find any of our products to be defective or faulty these can be returned to us for replacement within 30 days of purchase. You should first notify us by either telephone or email. We may ask you to take digital photographs or carry out an inspection ourselves.

Availability

Whilst we pride ourselves on our extensive stock level and product range we may occasionally be unable to complete certain orders due to insufficient stock or items that become obsolete. In this instance, we will contact you to offer an alternative product or a full refund.

Liability

If you have notified us of a problem with the goods within 30 days of delivery we will, subject to availability, either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.

We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than the refund for the product. Our liability to you shall not in any event include any losses related to any other consequential loss whatsoever.

This does not affect your statutory Rights if you are a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

Goods are intended for use in the UK only and we cannot confirm that the goods comply with any laws, regulations or standards applicable outside of the UK. All goods are sold in accordance with the manufacturers specifications and are subject to any qualifications, representations or instructions contained in the documentation associated with the goods.
